~ Tough decisions ~

at some point in life,
we'd have to make decisions,
and it is really easy to just turn off your mind,
and decide to follow another person's decision.
then again, it all comes back
to the heart vs. the mind that makes it tough.

it'd be great if we could always choose all the options,
or rather, more than one option!
one day, your heart tells you to just go for this.
then, the next day, your heart tells you another thing.
cos' these options will lead to different outcomes later,
you just wish somehow there'd be a time machine.
Tell me how the outcome would be if i chose this, or that.
just when things are getting clearer,
another plan was made.
it can drive a person nuts!

cos' in the end,
you'd look back and you might regret not doing it.
but if you did it...
honestly, no one really regrets what they've not,
rather it's what they've not been able to do.

maybe, i do know it deep down
maybe, i'm just rejecting it just so...
i'd still really like to have both.
one's a risk, another's uncertainty.
