~ The Love Letter ~

a love letter
need not have the word, 'love'
need not be written by a lover
need not be written in perfect english.

a letter may not need to be in a physical form,
even one that's been typed and posted on a blog or an email,
it may still contain the most beautiful words one can say.

it's better late than never.
a letter that came unexpectedly, that came as a surprise.
though it came years later, it still arrived,
and the most important thing is the sender sent it personally.
isn't this a lucky letter?
many letters were written or typed but has never been sent out,
others were sent but were never received,
a few were sent, received but were never read (for lots of reasons).
a letter that was written/typed, sent, received, read and kept/saved,
that - is a lucky letter, and a very precious one indeed.
i'm glad the sender found the courage to send it out :)
isn't it better late than never?

P.S. once upon a time, there was a girl.
