~ Long distance girlfriend ~

they say distance doesn't matter,
cos' our friendship can do so much better than that.

what's true?
we used to say that nothing wld change.
we used to be so involved in each other's lives.
we used to meet almost every single day.
we used to live just doors away.
we used to be there for one another.
then, things changed.
but we maintained that we'd still be the same.
we are still the same.
but it feels shit.
we're nowhere the same as before,
no matter how deep our bond is.
we used to say it's alright to not meet up for months or years even,
cos' we know when we meet again, it'd still be the same.
but why do times like this make one feel like shit?
we're at both ends of the world,
and even though we had just skyped,
i still don't know where the hell you are!
