~ Zero sense of urgency ~

the last few meetings touched my heart so deeply.
perhaps the environment may have changed,
but the people are still as awesome as before.
heading back is indeed a happy thing,
something that i've been looking forward to,
but leaving my loved ones isn't.
despite all the excitement, there's still a sense of unwillingness deep down.
this trip back here has taught me a little more,
and each loved one has influenced me in their own unique ways.

it was/is a right decision to be back,
to celebrate the beginning of my adulthood,
to share my experiences being apart from everyone,
to revisit this place i've been calling home,
to fulfill my promise to a loved one,
to give everyone a hug,
to be a part of a loved one's graduation, sch selection (growing up),
and def many more.

in fact,
there's been quite a lot of re-adjustments,
so many places, things, ppl that were once so familiar became quite unfamiliar.
from foods, to transports, to conversation topics...

mommy dedicated a song to me at the restaurant,
and it was a really touching love song.
just by standing up and claiming proudly that 'i'm here!'
when the djs were searching for this Jolin,
all the embarrassment was worth it alrdy.
