~ BOOGEYMAN, BUGGER OFF ~

a bedtime story parents used to tell to make their little ones go to bed.
then, as you grow older, you thought of it as just an old story.
never wld you realise, the past stories haunt the present time.

have you heard of the boogeyman story?
some say he creeps from under the bed,
others say he jumps out from your wardrobe.
it reminds me of Monster Inc. when bubu (i kinda forgot her name...)
anw, the really cute girl who was frightened by one of the monsters.
towards the end, they became friends.
but i guess happy endings usually happen in most fairytales.

the boogeyman story has been retold by so many parents,
that the story keeps developing.
so, my version goes like this.
once upon a time, there was a boy who was lonely.
he got his pleasures from scaring other kids,
and it carried on till he became a man.
then, one day, he got gradually tired of ppl running away from him,
of ppl ignoring him, so he asked himself,
'why do i not have any friends?'
then, someone passed by,
and as she passed by, she noticed this man sitting all alone looking rather sad.
so, she gave him a smile.
however, the boogeyman, being himself, gave the girl a scare, causing the girl to run away.
he was still confused...
'why did she run away? i was just returning her smile~'

sometimes a scare just cause a person to take two steps away from the other,
and so he still wonders, 'why do ppl run away' from seeing him.
