~ New Soul ~

the day comes when you just want time to stop,
hoping that when time stops,
everything would stay the same (forever).
then, comes the day when you realize when that time comes,
only the time for that person stops,
everyone's time continues on,
so is yours, even though you badly wanted it to stop.
time passes for you,
and that's when you gradually start to gather the remaining energy,
and carry on your path as you recover.

things don't just happen for the sake of happening.
it's bcos' they happened that it led you to where you are
and will continue to lead you to wherever you go.

not only that.
as time passes, everything becomes so comfortable.
in the beginning,
there was so much passion and initiative.
but gradually, every passion and initiative lessens
cos' there's those around to pay attention to.

everyone needs a wake up call, not only you and me.
to be reminded of the passionate 'us' from before.

like having a heater during winter.
it keeps you warm and helps you to forget about the cold,
which is why the noise from the heater doesn't really affect you that much.
but when the weather starts to get warmer,
you realize how much noise is getting in to your head.
you finally just see it.
