~ Missing ~

they say the past haunts the present.
but what can we do abt it?
create a new past to haunt the future.

it's as though we're living in déjà vu
everything seems to repeat itself like the today from the previous week.
as the hands of the clock ticks,
my heart beats faster and faster.
flashbacks from before come and go
like annoying advertisements disrupting your drama.
each look at the clock is a reminder of its own.
at this time, i was here,
at that time, i received this,
the following action was this,
and then it was that.
all fresh in here (points to head) and here (points to heart).

the looks they gave was also a reminder.
the unspoken concerns was felt,
but there was no answer to their gazes.

i wish we'd continue to protect and love those he loved.
a missing piece doesn't take away the passion,
love continues.
i believe.

P.S. hugs are such power gifts we can give
