~ Always on my mind ~

it's funny how things either not happen,
and bore your day,
or everything happens at once,
and overwhelm you like Tsunami and striking lottery.

you can walk a long muddy path,
have bugs falling on to you as you walk under the trees,
or you can choose to wait for an hour for a sheltered bus.
perhaps without that spur of the moment,
i wld choose to sit in the cold and wait.
but, on an impulse,
i took on that chilly adventure,
which brought back funny memories and that courage we used to have when we were younger.
i miss that carefree child-like character that gradually fades away as we grow older.

even if the adventure was recorded,
even if we were laughed at
as we ran through the exhibition barefooted,
i'm proud to say, "you're missing out on it"
eyes stare, mouths gossip, but hearts envy
cos' we miss that carefree-ness we're losing...

have you ever got too used to something or someone?
you always rush to me whenever i scream for help, no matter what time.
that morning, it cramped from the cold and dancing~
and i stopped myself from calling out to you... hahaha...
having to bear the cramps alone... feels different.
but i did it on my own :)

how many ppl can appease that rave and rant of yours?
how many can do it without verbally trying?
how many wld end up making you smile before you head to bed?
if it's countless, have you really been mad or concerned?
if it's a handful, they're the ones who know you sincerely... :)

isn't one answer the simplest?
why did it become so complicated
with questions, doubts, and hesitation?
turnoff.
