~ Why not? ~

came across a really beautiful name that morning
it was as though a new meaning was added into the street,
and it was named, 'whynot street'

past weeks have been really enjoyable,
it still feels kinda like a holiday despite the classes...
besides that, it's all abt stuffs i wanted to do back home,
yet i was kinda glued on to my seat...
now, it feels like things are gradually taking on a good turn :)
think abt setting out in your best outfit,
for some stuffs that gets you on your feet,
and your heart races as you enjoy every breeze and activity.

even if you were to get hit by the tennis ball a hundred times
at your chest and leg,
or the volleyball at your face,
or even tripping over as you dance,
or woken up in the wee hours for roo meat,
or dancing with tens of guys in the middle of no where,
or sipping wine while eating more biscuits with dipped sauces in the night,
or skipping down an empty street while getting grass stuck on your shoes,
it's worth the memories and the time.

the happier you are,
the more 'a twist' wld wanna catch up on you.
and that twist ought to be different from a year ago,
cos' if it's the same, then it'll be no new stories.
today, tomorrow, it's a miracle or a hope that's gonna appear.
cos' it definitely won't bring us back to that time of the year.
why not pray for a miracle once again?

if i cld be everywhere and anywhere, i really wish to be right there.
i enjoy the distractions and welcome the distractors.
cos' laughter is where i'll always be.
the distractors i've met this week made every day a wonderful one,
from food to sunbathing, to tuning in and giving their support and cheers,
to smiles and even hugs. for all these, i thank you.
