~ Not just a cover ~

it's a great time right now,
that i just felt like it.
and i just went ahead with it.

So i figured it was time to just finish it.
i've been putting it off for days,
just so i won't have to reach the end of it.
but i want to know the end, i want to finish it,
just that...

so i grabbed my bag, and reached out for the hard cover
held it in front of me for awhile,
and sorta recap what it was about, and where i left off...
it took a deep breath as well as some determination to open it up.
cos' i want to move on and not just stop at one point,
i want to know, and i cannot wait for a new one.

there's so much we cannot control, neither can we expect.
if only it's like drama and film scripts, where everything go as you imagine.
but deep down, i know i don't really want that,
cos' then life wldn't be filled with surprises.
and the thing is, i love surprises. who doesn't?

things can be similar at times, even though it's in a different context,
happening in a different country, with different people.
it's amazing how ppl experience the same things yet...
sometimes we feel that we're the only ones who experience it.

in fact, i was really glad when a friend asked me what it was about.
i was more than happy to share it,
and i was seriously sharing it. if only it was a real question that came...
cos' i'd really like to share if you'd like to listen.
then again...

i love the book a lot. so much so that i feel like keeping it by my side,
so i cld just look at it every now and then.
but i want to share it more than anything else,
i hope everyone cld understand it too.

P.S. "hi" and "bye" are equally exciting.
